Two videos are on this page. This top one is about a very reputable company, the original one used in the first studies that everyone was amazed by. But video two below with Ian Mitchell is the one to focus on, after you get this first one down. With these two videos – NO BULLSHIT – you can do wonders for your health. The second one has the product I now use 5 days a week. See article below
The following was posted by the creator at YouTube for the video above. See my article below these notes – as there is a less expensive alternative that I have tested, and now use myself. No one makes money from my recommendation but it is just about the best there is. You can see a video with the main scientist Ian Mitchell below.
Can one molecule almost double our lifespan?
Chris Burres is the founder and chief scientist at MyVitalC, the oldest and longest manufacturer of the Nobel Prize-winning ESS60 molecule. He came here to explain why almost nobody has heard of it.
The story gets stranger the further in we go. Rice University scientists discovered this ball-shaped carbon molecule in 1985. It performs better than most existing materials in batteries, tires, and inks, and its antioxidant properties are far more powerful than vitamin C. Then a French toxicity study produced unexpected longevity results.
Chris outlines the manufacturing process, the liver recovery data, the cancer cell study, the sleep testimonials, and the pet results that leave placebo out of the argument.

C60: The Longevity Molecule Big Pharma Hates – My Three-Year Citizen Science Deep Dive
By Michael Anthony Whatfinger Health Writer / Citizen Scientist
There is a soccer-ball-shaped carbon molecule that most people have never heard of. Sixty pure carbon atoms arranged in a perfect sphere. Discovered at Rice University in 1985. Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996. And in one of the most jaw-dropping animal studies ever published, it nearly doubled the lifespan of rats.
That molecule is C60 (also called buckminsterfullerene or, in its refined human-grade form, ESS60).
Big Pharma has zero interest in promoting it. There is no patentable synthetic version they can own for decades. It is a pure carbon structure dissolved in oil. No complex manufacturing monopoly. No recurring prescription revenue stream. And yet the anecdotal reports — and the original data — and my own extensive experiences, keep stacking up. People report better energy, clearer thinking, deeper sleep, reduced inflammation, and, in some cases, recoveries that left doctors scratching their heads. Even for major ailments. Pets respond the same way. When old dogs start acting like puppies again, placebo is off the table.
I spent the last three years researching and personally testing five different C60 products. I am not a lab scientist. I am a citizen scientist who reads the papers, talks to the manufacturers, and puts the stuff in my own body (and the bodies of animals I care about). Here is what I found.
The Study That Started Everything
In 2012, French researchers published a paper in the journal Biomaterials. They dissolved C60 in olive oil and gave it orally to Wistar rats at a modest dose. The control rats lived a normal lifespan. The olive-oil-only group lived a bit longer. The C60 group lived nearly twice as long — roughly a 90% extension — with no tumors and protected livers when challenged with a toxin.
That single study lit the fuse. Suddenly biohackers, longevity enthusiasts, and ordinary people started seeking out C60 in olive oil. The problem? Most of what hit the market was low-quality, under-dosed, or contaminated industrial material. Chris Burres, founder and chief scientist at MyVitalC (and one of the longest-running manufacturers of the pure molecule since 1991), has repeatedly shown that many commercial products contain little to no actual C60. His company supplied the material used in the original Paris study. Their product is the real deal.
Chris Burres and the Original High-Purity Route
The first video above features Chris Burres speaking with Luke Storey. Burres walks through the manufacturing process (graphite vaporized in an oxygen-free reactor), the liver protection data, sleep improvements, cancer-cell observations, and the pet results that remove the placebo argument. His company’s ESS60 is carefully processed for human and animal use rather than industrial applications. It is excellent.
It is also expensive — roughly twice the cost of the product I ultimately settled on for daily use.
Ian Mitchell, Wizard Sciences, and the Product I Actually Use
After testing five different brands over three years, I landed on Evolve from Wizard Sciences, developed by Ian Mitchell. It is an extra-virgin olive oil lipofullerene. Clean. Bioavailable. Consistently effective in my experience. And meaningfully less expensive than the original MyVitalC formula while still delivering the results I was looking for. I used MyVitalC (The C stands for Carbon by the way, not Vitamin C as most think), and was impressed. But I get the exact same results with Evolve.
I take Evolve five days a week. Energy is steadier. Recovery is better. I joke to people, who are amazed that I am pushing 60, that I feel like I can jump off a building in the AM just 30 minutes after taking it. I tell them, it is like your mitochondria having little superman capes…. the energy is just insane. And I love It! The vague background inflammation that used to hang around is long gone. Injuries are no more. I have recommended it to friends and family. The feedback has been consistent. Not one person has been disappointed. Several beat the Big C, which as you know I cannot say here as a citizen scientist. Just a note, I had them combine Ivermectin/Membendazole from Wellness – that Whatfinger helps many with (we are affiliates now) with C60 and the big C got its asses kicked over and over. Ian Mitchell is good like that by the way. Research the man, search on YouTube and you will come to know more science on the topic than most scientists.
Ian has spoken extensively about mitochondrial support, muscle recruitment, brain protection, and the practical differences between formulations. The second video above features him. Watch both videos. Then decide for yourself.
Pets Do Not Do Placebo
This is the part that convinced the skeptics in my circle. I am all for placebo since that simply means we are really doing it all by ourselves. We can dive into all of that at a later time. As you all know I’m deep into it all. Even wrote books on the topic. The whole double-slit experiment and simulation theory way.
I have helped multiple older dogs get their bounce back with Vortex, Wizard Sciences’ pet formula. Stiff, slow, “ready-to-check-out” animals started moving like they had years left. Energy returned. Play returned. The owners were stunned. Dogs do not read labels or expect results. They either improve or they do not. So far, every person I have recommended Vortex to has reported happier, healthier dogs.
My own girlfriend had an elderly dog, and she cried to me that it could no longer jump up on her bed. She would be brought to tears each time it tried and failed. As a pet owner, you know the drill. We’ve all been through having a sick or dying or just in pet in pain. The Vet told her there was nothing that could be done, as it was age. Never giving up and being a citizen scientist as well as aggregator of vast info, I watched hundreds of hours of podcasts and know all of the players. All of the scientists. Then tested it all for you, and me and everyone else. I gave the dog Vortex from Ian Mitchell’s outfit Wizard Sciences, and in just a few days, suddenly it could jump on the bed again. After a few weeks, the dog was acting like a puppy again and the vet was shocked, he never saw an old dog get healthy like this. Well…. you all know how much I detest Big Pharma doctors and Vets. We told him about C60 and because it is not part of their Nazi like ‘SOC’ – ‘Standard of Care’ (which is the approved BS that they have to give in order to get their monthly bonus checks from Big Pharma) – they would not look at C60.
We know better. That is not marketing. That is observed reality in living animals that cannot be talked into feeling better.
Why Big Pharma Wants Nothing to Do With This
C60 is not a drug. It is a pure carbon allotrope with extreme antioxidant capacity — claims range from dozens to hundreds of times more effective than vitamin C in certain assays. It appears to neutralize free radicals without the usual trade-offs, supports mitochondrial function, and crosses into places conventional antioxidants struggle to reach.
There is no massive clinical trial apparatus behind it because there is no pharmaceutical profit model. Independent researchers and small companies have carried the work. Some later mouse studies failed to replicate the dramatic lifespan extension and raised questions about light exposure and product quality. That is science doing its job. It does not erase the original data, the manufacturing history, or the thousands of real-world reports from people and pets.
I am not telling anyone this is a miracle cure. I am telling you that after three years of testing, reading, and watching animals respond, C60 is one of the most interesting molecules I have encountered. Lives have improved. In some cases, people credit it with helping them through situations conventional options left unresolved. Read all of the comments under any videos with Ian Mitchell on YouTube. You will understand quickly.
Do Your Own Research
I love readers who dig. Do not take my word for it. Watch the two videos above. Read the 2012 Baati paper. Look at the manufacturing differences between industrial C60 and properly prepared material. Compare prices and purity claims. Talk to people who have used it for years. Then make your own call.
I personally use Wizard Sciences Evolve. For pets I reach for their Vortex. Chris Burres’ MyVitalC remains an outstanding (if pricier) option rooted in the original research material. Both men have skin in the game and have been transparent about process. Both are respected, so both can do wonders for you.
Your health is not a spectator sport. Neither is mine.
