In honor of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month this September, Zach returns to reflect on his Story of Transformation, first shared in 2021, and provide an update on his life today.
After surviving a school shooting and losing friends – including one to suicide – Zach struggled with severe depression and thoughts of self-harm. Searching for something that could help, he discovered Dr Joe’s work and began meditating. What followed wasn’t an overnight transformation, but a gradual journey of consistency, self-love, and rediscovering hope.
Now, years later, Zach reflects on how his relationship with meditation has evolved – and why it remains a practice he returns to when life gets difficult.
