A flat geometric pattern can reveal something entirely different when imagined in three dimensions.
The Seed of Life begins with overlapping circles arranged around a common center. As this geometry is repeated and rotated, the intersections develop into an increasingly intricate rosette. But instead of treating those lines as shapes confined to a plane, imagine them as continuous loops extending through space.
Viewed from the side, this interpretation unfolds into a toroidal structure, with loops circulating around a central opening before returning through the system. Viewed again from above, that depth compresses back into the familiar radial symmetry of the rosette.
This offers a fascinating way to contemplate sacred geometry: a two-dimensional symbol can be interpreted as the projection of a more complex three-dimensional form.
