Behind our experience of reality are recurring principles that connect consciousness, nature, and the cosmos. The Codex Universalis presents twelve Hermetic Principles as a framework for understanding these relationships and our role within them.
Mentalism teaches that all is mind and that consciousness shapes experience. Correspondence reveals the relationship between microcosm and macrocosm. Vibration describes existence as constant motion, while Polarity shows opposing forces as different extremes of the same continuum.
Rhythm reveals the cycles underlying existence. Cause and Effect connects every action with consequence. Gender describes the complementary masculine and feminine forces present throughout creation.
The framework continues with the One, recognizing the fundamental interconnectedness of existence; the Infinite, pointing toward a reality without ultimate boundaries; and the Divine, recognizing the sacred within all things. The Trinity brings thought, word, and action into alignment, while Divine Order invites us to recognize meaning and purpose within the unfolding journey.
Together, these twelve principles offer a framework for self awareness, transformation, and a deeper relationship with the patterns of existence.
