Oat milk sounds healthy — but it’s one of the worst milk alternatives out there. Oats are heavily sprayed with glyphosate, and even organic oats consistently test positive for it. On top of that, oats cross-react with gluten, meaning they can trigger the same gut damage in sensitive people. And most oat milks? Loaded with added sugar just to make them palatable. That’s three strikes.
Soy milk isn’t any better. Soy is one of the highest-lectin legumes on the planet, and it has no business being consumed as a daily beverage. Most commercial soy milks are also sweetened, adding yet another reason to put it down for good.
